Expo + Curl again.

For anybody wanting to try this style of fractal, you don't need Expo in order to do it. You really only need Curl and some other interesting function. I'll be going over this a little bit in my upcoming Apo live session.

Absolutely delicious fractal. Nicely done. I'll have to try that technique sometime :D

An intense battle royal, possibly even for all of eternity, if I do say so myself.

Is this a layered flame?

I think it looks pretty good, if it is a single flame I'm shocked, but as a double flame it fits in very well. Great colors and celestial feel.

Yep, this is a single flame. I had a Transform with Expo which made the spiraling galaxy-esque things, and then used Curl to create two focal points (eventually it was tweaked by using a Spherical final transform, but the focal points were there anyways).

I got kinda tired of just doing that (my last two Apo renders were done that way), so I duplicated the low-weight Expo transform, moved one of the points so it formed a line (more or less), and moved it around a little bit so that it drew nice lines between zero and infinity. I messed with the symmetry, too, so that it had that nice glossy effect.

That's pretty innovative, especially considering how well you were able to divide the flame into a background and foreground. The focal points really stand out well here.

:D I do what I can. It's actually a lot more jumbled than I would have liked, but I'm glad people like it.
